Now that it is our final week we have still be meeting up after school most days to put together our visual for our ted talk. It’s a lot harder to kind of portray some of your messages with only pictures and very few words. Our intro slide will be ez pz, but the history slide we have to find a picture that represents where the idea of pretzels came from which was the crossing of the arms in prayer. But we have a few pictures from when we got pretzels. Which I like a lot.

I think this part of the project has been the most enjoyable because it means that we are coming to an end and wrapping it all up. But we have also been working a lot and putting in them hours for this part of our project. At times it can be stressful but it’s only temporary.

We have met up two more times or maybe more after school to go over our ted talk and make sure we have it written out as well as we can. We have written down everything word for word what we wanted to say to get an idea. Make edits tov it and perfect it. David is going to use his ukulele for the jingle. We also have been experimenting with that to see what fits without group and is fun and entertaining.

Outline

Last Wednesday we met after school to start our ted talk. We went to the library and went then went to Starbucks to get it started. We discussed the outline of our ted talk. We wrote out that we wanted a jingle for our group to start and introduce our project so that it catches the audience before it even begins. Then we would have a rundown of the objective and why we picked this topic and this group for our blog project. Then we’d give some background history of the pretzel. After we would show the audience the different pretzels we tried. Wed show them then how we judged them and what criteria we used to grade them. Show our interview with the expert and conclude it there.

 

TedTAlk

Now that we have finished our interview and taste testing we can start our ted talk. I’m most excited about this part of the project because we get to gather all the information and share it will our peers. The examples of ted talks we had to watch gave me a lot of good ideas and examples of how we can put together our ted talk that is interesting and will engage our audience.

Some of the examples had questions for the audience where they had to stand and sit to answer which had the audience think and analyze their own life. There were ted talks that just showed visuals for the audience, there weren’t very many words because the presenter had a well-rehearsed and thought out message. So that’s what I would like my groups ted talk to be based off.

Eatinn' dem Pretzels

The group and I went to Pretzel Maker in the Park Place Mall. Its a tiny pretzel counter in the food court area. We ordered some cinnamon and sugar pretzels as you can see in the picture below. Also Regular pretzel salted bites and some cheese dipping sauce.

In this trip we were able to try Wetzel Pretzels and had some of there regular salted pretzel bites. but now they have crazy flavors like jalapeño and pizza pretzels.
